Workshop Schedules

CEA offers several accreditation workshops each year. Workshops include a discussion of accreditation in general, specific CEA procedures, the self-study process, and writing the self-study report. Participants receive a copy of the Accreditation Handbook and the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions, which are reviewed and discussed at the workshop.

Programs or institutions must submit an eligibility form for CEA accreditation before attending a workshop. Contact CEA to obtain this form. Attending a CEA workshop implies that the program or institution is ready to begin the process of self-study, which must be completed within 18 months of the workshop. (The site may apply for a 6-month extension if needed.) Within the first three months, the site must prepare and submit a self-study plan, which will guide the self-study process leading to submission of the self-study.

CEA also offers customized workshops for multiple participants at a school's site. To schedule a customized workshop, contact CEA.
