Procedures for Becoming a CEA Reviewer
English language professionals who are interested in being considered as CEA reviewers must first apply by submitting an application form, which includes:
- Cover letter indicating why you are interested in becoming a site evaluator, your familiarity with English language education and administration, a brief summary of your professional activities, and a summary of what you believe to be your strengths with regard to site evaluation.
- A completed Reviewer Application Form.
- A resume that includes educational background, nature and length of experience in the field and in consulting or serving with review teams, and relevant professional involvement in appropriate associations, such as publications, presentations, etc.
- Names and phone numbers of two references familiar with your professional qualifications.
Qualified applicants will be contacted to attend a required reviewer workshop.

Reviewer workshops are scheduled periodically throughout the year. Exact locations and times are emailed to accepted applicants.

Dates/times: March 26-27, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Monday; 9:00 am – 4:00 pm Tuesday*The spring workshop is typically held in conjunction with the TESOL International Convention.
In 2018, the TESOL Convention begins on Tuesday and ends on Friday (March 27-30), and TESOL is in Chicago, IL.
