CEA does not collect, retain, or share personally identifiable information related to students. Materials provided to CEA as part of a site’s responses to the accreditation self-study include only documents in which personal information is redacted. However, students may be identified by name in CEA’s files in connection with establishing compliance with federal regulations related to the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) of the Department of Homeland Security.
CEA collects only limited personal data (such as names and provided CVs) of school staff and faculty, and only for the purposes of accreditation. CEA collects only limited personal data (such as names and information on legal documents) related to school owners. CEA retains this information for the period of time required by law as related to the term of accreditation.
All records related to a site, including those related to students and personnel, are maintained in keeping with CEA’s records retention policy and are protected and kept secure.
CEA’s website does not allow for collection of any personal information about users. However, CEA’s website contains links to other websites.
